Yeah, tried loads of batteries but still not playing ball. Trying to get the top plate off but there screws have rounded. Using jis screwdrivers as well. Will need to be drilled out. I did see a post on Faceache about your application, good luck!

Hmm sounds like fun. I know the screws are tiny but my usual MO on normal size ones to get them moving is to try to tap them. Jam a flat-bladed screwdriver in tangentially and tap, try to move it around in a few different places so as to try not to just bend the screw.

Thanks for the tip, but a little past that now. Will defo need drilling out, or at least get the heads off so I can remove the top plate. All I wanted to do was clean the contacts.

I won the Zeiss Johnny, I also picked up a Lomo'instant. It's untested but it was cheap, been after one for a while.

Cool! Be interesting to see if it's just a misunderstanding. My folding Contessa has the same system for cokking/film spacing, it's a bit stiff so the frame spacing is a bit erratic, not delved into it - you may find this one is also a bit stiff, who knows. Could be just a bit grubby and perfectly alright!

Should be here in a few days so fingers crossed. Another one appeared, its got a red T lens. The Photosniper box turned up, got another stock and three straps, only needed one and the filters. Got a reloadable film can with cccp on the base. Hope the Lomo works, got some Instax film to use with it.

Red T on an Ikonta 35? Not heard of that - I'm no expert but seems fancy for a pocket camera

Johnny, did I see that you picked up an M42 Pentax recently? Maybe worth a look? 163369844605. There is also this 202507940700. I did manage to score a Pentax 50mm f1.7 for a fiver plus post as it had a filter stuck to it. I carefully cut two slots with a hacksaw and used a lens spanner to unscrew. It's now living on my older K1000.
