A bit morbid maybe.

This Ambulance was in our shop today.
The back of which was one of the several places where I came really close to dying in the summer of 2015, and on this very cart!

Seemed much smaller in there today and a bit eerie with the lights all off.
I did not get inside.
Gave me a chill.

I thought I knew Essex really well but today I found a nature reserve I've never visited before.

The cafe was cut off due to the high tide, but an hour later all the water in this area had gone again.

Loads of birds, many just arrive for the winter, which you can't see in the pics as these were just taken on my phone. There are little bridges all across the marshes but we stuck to the main path today.

Tollesbury Wick, on the road between Maldon and Colchester. We must have ridden past the road down to Tollesbury many times but because it's a dead end never explored the village or realised the extent of the fresh water marshes. You have Bradwell on one side, Mersea on the other.
