Bell 3 helmet size 58

Does anyone know if it's possible to make a size M 58 Bell 3, into a L 60 by changing the inner cap liner,I got this cheap last year and it's a bit tight on the forehead.i think the shells are the same size but have seen different tables re sizing of shells,I've taken the liner out and it would fit an elephant,any help please ???

Might as well,Bell were very helpful but this particular model was one of the OLD stock bought up by one company who them selves were helpful but hadn't got the size I wanted so I took it out and found an Ali gee style hat and sown some of the padding to it,worked very well,so this season I do mostly be wearing BELL !!!
