I hope its not bad manners to make your first post
a sales thread. But I thought I would offer it here first
before it goes on Gumtree.
I have only had the bike a little over a month but it has made
me realise my biking days are over, nothing to do with the bike
its just all the other road users and general lack of time to enjoy it.
SV650 2002 metallic blue, fairing and hugger. Its in very good condition
with only 6200 miles on the clock, have all MOTs to prove it.
2 previous owners who have looked after it and said the bike was only
ever used in the dry. Scottoiler fitted from new, still on its original
tyres which maybe have 1000 miles left on them. Not much more
to say, its very clean and tidy and runs exactly as it should.
Only bad points are small scuff on left hand fairing and 2 tiny
chips on top of the tank. Just had a new MOT and 2 months
tax left. Comes with paddock stand, manual and smart charger.

Someone will be asking you for the hugger and lowers in no time. Good luck with the sale. Shame you don't wanna keep it. Don't let the idiots on the road put you off for good.

Would you be prepared to split the rear hugger & lowers? If so, how much.

Nice bike mate, got exactly the same, minus hugger and lowers ands it's a bind trying to find the lowers anywhere at a half decent price. Where did get youre from or did it come fully faired?

They came with the bike.
I have the bike advertised in the local paper and gumtree
but have had no interest at, is it priced to high?

It looks a clean bike from the photos, I paid £1500 for mine a few years back, slightly deprived of care so IMO i don't think £1700 is OTT . I'd stick at that price and see how much interest you rack up.

It is a sweet looking bike though, those bottom fairings just add that extra touch, that's what I was after the b didn't drop on one when I wanted it.

I'd also consider whacking it on eBay... best chance as any. Even if you look on there and gauge and idea of what they're selling 4.
