Had a sneeze earlier which managed to tweak my back muscle again, now it's sore on the left side, just when it was starting to get better :-( :-(

I have had a recent spat with Virgin, got fed up with auto dialed calls (5 to 20 second delay before anyone answers) from their overseas call centres, can't understand most of their accents and calls can be any time during day and evening. They always seem to be selling stuff, one I did understand said I was eligible for the new Tivo V6, I told her we got one over a month ago. I wrote to Virgin complaints centre at Bristol asking them to stop the calls, but could they contact me by email instead, they wrote back saying they had logged my complaint and someone would contact me soon, BY PHONE, for Pete's sake !!! I did answer the call and they said it would take 30 to 60 days for the 'do not call' instruction to take effect.

Look on Virgin user forum for heaps of complaints about volume of phone calls Virgin bombards their subscribers with.

Tell them you charge £50 per call AND DO IT.

Daughter phoned in tears from work.

From the sound of it her manager is a bully, Shouts/Rants and imposes impossible deadlines etc. She has already suggested several times that my daughter might be better off looking elsewhere.

For a law firm you would think management would understand the consequences of constructive dismissal!

I don't think you would get this in a male environment as we tend to stick up for ourselves. But when women clash, it is either cat fight or sulks. the daughter definitely feels she is being forced out.

Sounds about right for legal firms. If she's feeling like being pushed they are, normally into a serious mistake
