Luggage on a pointy

Hi all,

Was going to cargo net/bungee some stuff on the back of my K6 for Donington at weekend but it didn't look or feel secure enough as the 'mounting' points on the grab rail are quite high up.
I didn't have an issue with my curvy as it had those 'rail' type things underneath the back end.

Anyone got any pictures of luggage/bungees etc on there pointy? Any advice on where to bungee it too (not including the hook near the pillion pegs)?

Thanks x

Wrap the cargo net right under the tail and hook the hooks together. Its amazing how much those things stretch. Just watch you're paintwork. Maybe get some of that protective rubber matting to put under it

Ah I stupidly didn't try that, I ordered some more long bungees to help strap the webbing down, wrapping it round underneath is a goodun! I also bought some rubber holy mat thing to wrap around underneath it all to protect my lovely black paintwork. I wish there were more points to grapple to though, the grab rail ones and the rear pegs is it innit?

Plenty of room on a pointy!

Admittedly most of this is anchored to the panniers, but the advice above is sound. :)

That looks like it doubles as a very comfy back rest for you!

Thanks for advice guys, I'll try strapping everything together underneath the back end.

Indeed, it was like riding a Harley! (Went slowly and everyone was laughing and pointing at me :D)

Nick, it could do with tidying up a bit though.
