Any car mechanics....

...or very good DIY mechanics that fancy some beer tokens? My Ford Puma has failed its MOT today on a rear shock, so it needs replacing and due to not having lots of cash need it done cheap! I would attempt it on my own but every time I attempt to do something on my car it fails, so really just need a knowledgeable person to guide me.

Any help would be great!

Ash.

easy to do mate is it for the shock or the spring? either way its pretty easy altough never done it on a puma say would take bout half an hour jack up car at back both sides high as you can, take off wheels, undo take out the bolts holding the bottom of shocks in both sides probably easiest if dont have air tools might be a bitch.... support the beam as will drop down a bit take try to prevent spring from falling out if they do, mark tem so you know top and bottom not sure if they have top or bottom tho... em undo top shock mount of the one you are taking off and replace with new shock.

spring compressor might help to compress spring down so you can get the shocks bang in or you prob be able to push up( maybe even use the jack) to compress them enough to get the shocks in
