Annual Ride Out - tent problemo
 

I want to do the ride out but don't have a tent or any kind of outdoor stuff - anyone going from Soho who can share? - To discuss tonite perhaps ..

I wouldn't share a a tent with that lots.. you don't know where they've been.... :wink:

Claire i doubt if i will be there. If i dont go, i have a tent, inflatable roll matt, panniers etc that you are more than welcome to borrow.

Tks Viney - the optimum solution!! :D Recalls my days from the TA when I was worst ever at tent -making - they all let rainwater in and always woke up in a mini swimming pool ..

Not sure about paniers - might get one of those tank bag thingymijigs.

They are Oxford sport panniers. Its the full kit that i use on my bike. The tent is a Coleman 3 man, so plenty of room, and packs up small. The roll mat is brand new. Still in its pack. I borught it, then the weekend i brought it for got cancelled. Still its all there if ya want it. We'll sort it out closer the time.

I was planning on going down on Friday & have already 'advertised' for a carrier/sharer in the accomodation thread :lol: .
I have 2 tents, a basic 2 man jobbie, and a bigger posher one that has 2 compartments, and would definitely need to be split across 2 bikes.
That one sleeps 3 :lol:
