Exhaust
Hey peeps, quick question for you :)
Just fitted a new end can to my bike and it seems to have a small air leak on the link pipe, will this cause any damage/issues? It seems to ride fine just wondering if I need to take it all off and stick more sealant on? |
Re: Exhaust
wont cause any problems except maybe extra noise but could be an MOT fail and is definitely a bit suspect:(

Re: Exhaust
Won't cause any problems, just a few pops and bangs on the over run, when you shut off the throttle.
Silicon sealant will work |
Re: Exhaust
Many thanks for the reassurance :) I shall pop on some more sealant on at some point. Thankfully no need to worry about a MOT for a few years yet :D

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GRANVILLE...IAAOSwuxFY2Sme It's cheap and the Dog's Danglies for sealing exhausts joints.I used it when I put a cheap Chinaprovich end-can on last year.No leaks and still going strong :) The straps around the end-cap chattered a bit so squeezed some under them as well and that cure that. https://i.imgur.com/KhKNyf5.jpg |
