Southend Shakedown

I've been the last couple of years. Just wondered who was planning on heading on down to Saaarrrrfend on Sea this Easter Monday (April 5th)?

I'm optimistically thinking I may be riding again by then, but if not I may be seeking a lift somewhere on the A12 (Mr Zig, Mr Treacle, are you listening?)

I know, I'm just trying to set myself a target to be riding again, otherwise it is just so depressing being in plaster :(

And Messie did mention something about Supervox playing host.

Damn - you guys really like to think ahead don't you ?!! :)

For the past few years we've held a BBQ - preceded by a short blast around some of our local roads (just to work up an appetite you understand !!); this year we're need to wait to hear from The Sun holidays as to which of our dates has been accepted before we can arrange anything.

Once I know for certain that we're going to be around I'll place the usual threads in the Soho, Essex, Selkent & Thames Valley sections.

I'm happy to bring some food along. I often do a whole salmon in spices for the BBQ but that may be a little tricky to bring, even with a top box!

BBQ planned for my place later in the summer - once I know which weekends are free of pesky cricket matches - which isn't many.

Yeh the legendary Supervox BBQ and rideout followed by some chva-baiting on the seafront later in the evening is not to be missed. Unless of course he's away, lol.

SuperV...if you do go away just leave us the keys to your gaff, we'll invite your family round and do the whole thing just like you were there and we may even save a couple of burgers for you tho they may be a bit stale by the time you're back from your holibobs, lol.

And LPH, i'm sure one way or another, me or that lovely fella Treacle will make sure you dont miss out on this, SuperV BBQ or not :)
