Ar10 food -

Hi folks. If you are vegetarian/vegan or have any special dietary requirements, please could you start a list with your name and your requirements or condition i.e. Coeliac or Diabetic etc and I can let the caterers know in order that they can make sure they have enough stock to cater for everyone.

You can PM me if you don't want to post here.

Also, I'll try and answer any questions about food on here as best I can, so feel free to ask.

Cheers,

GG x

Both men after my own heart then ;-)

In fact...see my avatar, I sometimes like talking to the source of my food AS I am eating it....nom nom nom!

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the caterer...he's a dude. Just tell them how you want your food done and they'll see you right :-)

Hmmm, can we get a pig locally, a fire and a spit. lovely.

When I worked on Sumatra, the locals would hunt the wild pigs, but wouldn't eat them. Marvellous, spit roast wild pig, But having to do it outside the coffee house (Bars not allowed). They then objected because our coffee house and the smell of the pig was next to their mosque. and why did our coffee and conversation get louder as the night wore on.

Have ever told you lot Indonesian whiskey is rough, but the bintang beer is only fit for cleaning your teeth with.

Turn up for work stinking of ale. Just cleaned my teeth boss.

Explored this option, decided against it.

However, we'll be having a BBQ here end of this summer or definitely next summer and I'll be cooking a whole pig underground :-)

Who said I was staying at yours after?? (I am like...just didn't think I had told you that yet...)

And surely that would make the pig a bit dirty....:smt017

It's a catering van Simon...you buy whatever you want off the menu, as and when you want it :-)

There will be a good variety, not just all just chips and burgers as that would be a bit boring all weekend.

Lactose intolerent, although I just settle for black tea and avoid any creamy sauces.

Allergic to Alcohol as well. No joke, was the bane of my teenage years.

Wow, that must have been fairly tough, and a nasty way to find out about the allergy but er....
I think we found our designated driver of the weekend

Re: Ar10 food -

lol. If you dont mind getting completely lost ;)

But yeah, first I go beetroot red, then my blood pressure goes sky high, hives on arms/legs/face, and then my throat swells up. Asthma kicks in shortly after.

All before I can finish a pint.

Does have its plus point though, believe it or not!
