Mallory Park Novice Day 25/05/2012

Just booked this. I have done Mallory a few times but I am still slow enough for the novice group.

Hi L3nny,

I am new to this forum and have been lurking in the background but after seeing your post i thought i would finally post something instead of just reading.

I am also booked in for novice trackday this Friday, so will have to try to make sure i have a chat with you.

I do have a quick question, does the Friday have a restriction on noise level of exhaust. I can't see it mentioned on the information for the day so would presume not.

I have an A16 can which i think is meant to be road legal with a baffle in, does this mean that it would be below the 98db limit if they did check on the day.

Hi mate. I think noise limit at mallory on a weekday is 105 and 98 at weekends so you'll be fine. Call the track or FE to make sure though. Come say hello if you see me. I'll be on a K1 gsxr 600.

Thanks for the info i should be fine with my exhaust if i leave the baffle in.

Im on a blue pointy sv650 with white helmet and black leathers so should be able to spot me with my miss matched gear.

Thanks, hoepfully the weather holds up.

If I finish my job in time this week I'll pop along on Friday, at least just to take some snaps.

Get on the track Phil! They have a deal where you can get a hire bike for an extra £100 if you think the Sprint is too lardy for the track.

I'd have no problem taking sprint on again, it's plenty quick enough and I'm not gonna be scraping pegs.

I can't book as I dont know if I'll be free and I've got a seriously square rear tyre after 450 mway miles last weekend.

I'm not sure I'd wanna do a track day with a square tyre and I ain't got time to get it changed.

You'll be able to go round there with your eyes shut eventually Lenny ;)

I'm looking at going either 15th or 22nd June if you fancy it again!

I am free on the 15th. Who's it with?
