front wheel maintenance ?? need to prop up front wheel etc

Does anyone know how do do this ??

The speedo is not telling me how fast Im going forward.. it works going backwards, but wont tell me squat going forward! I can get a whopping 2 MPH pushing myself back the drive lol

I think it needs replacing, but parts take forever to arrive at the garage etc.. so I would like to see if a clean up would do any good to it.. if only for a few days of knowing how fat Im going... motorway speeds aint a problem, as at 5.5K in 6th, it does approx 70 MPH, and at 6K in 6th, 80 etc... but the 30 MPH speed cameras wont care about that ! hehehe

So I need to know if I can get a stand or something to take the front wheel off, and have a looksee :)

cheers

You can get a paddock stand, but you can also use a rear paddock stand and jack up from under the engine to lift the front off the ground.

i had to use a trolly jack under the engine (with some wood)and when i had the speedo drive thing out i lowerd the jack and rested the forks on the floor.
still had to get a new speedo drive the "fan blade shape things" were broken
