Rear tail light, tail tidy and their removal/installation

This is more of a grip and a whinge than anything, but man do some people bodge and scarper.

I'm trying to remove the tail tidy as half the paint's flaking off and it looks terrible. So I have good intentions of respraying it and fixing the electrics that have worn through.

Man, what a bodge! It appears to all be hardwired. Un-picking this is going to be a nightmare.

First step was to get the horrible allen head bolts out that hold the tail tidy on- 3 came out ok, but one refused to budge. PlusGas on, make a brew, come back a bit later. All hail the dremmel - cut a slot, used a big screwdriver and an FBH to start the thing twisting, cut second slot to fit the screwdriver and out she comes.

keep at it, i'm the same either do it properly or don't bother. Nothing worse than finding a bodge job but once your done you know its done right.
