Crash bungs - worth putting them on?
Hey new to biking so my SV will be my first baby. Couple of guys in the office have other bikes and were suggesting that I might want to put crash bungs on the bike just in case I drop it etc. also they pointed out they help protect the I've in the parking bays in Westminster.
Any thoughts and recommendations for which ones to go for ? |
R&G
80mph crash and no engine damage. Admittedly the rest of the bikes ruined, but you hopefully won't test them like I did. |

And the crash bungs are still usable. Barely scratched! Best I've ever used

Yes they do save the bike from a good bit of damage.
And use R&G or Motosliders, most the others cause more damage than they avoid |

hi m8, i chose to get some on mine , you never want to use them but engines do cost a lot of pennys , i just got some mushrooms from e-bay cost less than £50 , east to fit also, goes through the frame and locks each side not just the end section , will give details if you like (no not on commision ) just think i got a good purchase

Cheap crash bungs are fantastic...... Until you use them, you'll quickly relies that that £50 you saved has just cost you £400+ in repairs |
