Big thanks again to Steve and Leigh for what was a really excellent day. The weather was well organised too, despite the daunting forecast. Thanks also to others who helped in any capacity to make the day so enjoyable.
Originally sceptical, pillion Anne and I both thought that the corner-marking system worked wonderfully in a monkey-see, monkey-do sort of way (pace Big Ape - the boy done good), and rendered maps and autoroute listings totally unnecessary. Tomtom and Quest, eat your hearts out! Actually, we really missed the corner markers on the way home to Folkestone - get it sorted next year, chaps, will you? Great that there were no incidents, and trust everyone made it home safely, too. When's the next one? :D |
No-one has mentioned about Carsick and Scoobs getting friendly.......very friendly lol........
The going to the toilet incident...... :-# And thanks to all those peeps that said "oh i thought you would be so much older...about 40 something" lol..... Fraser |
there is damning evidence your honour of the closeness of scoobs n car sick in the pic section now !!

I've updated the the Rideout 2005 page on the main site and added my photo's.
http://www.sv650.org/sv_rideout2005/index.htm If you want me to post your's then just email them to me. The photo forum is okay but the posts will eventually be drop off after 3 months. This doesn't happen on the main site. Considering the numbers involved, it was great to have an incident free day. John |
Thank you to all involved in the organisation. I had a great day.
