Olivers Mount this weekend
 

Anyone watching or racing this weekend at Olivers Mount? Be my first time there and looking forward to getting up there and seeing some racing. We are running a Super Twin this year with Tom Weeden.

No just as Tom Weeden Racing. Look out for the dirty looking Merc Sprinter van with a Hornet on it saying, "Don't play nicely with others"

Shame I'm down in Clacton this weekend or we'd be up for a brew with you. The craic at the Mount is superb. Enjoy and fingers crossed for the weather as it has its own micro climate ,watch the wind at Jefferies.

Thought I'd also update with a few photos of my own. Taken with my iphone so look poor.

Saturday was a beautiful day had fish and chips up at the café by the monument. Sunday was a little chilly but still good. Spots of rain on the second race of the day. Packed up left about 6pm dropped one off at Lincoln then all the way back to Essex just before midnight. Tom got home about 12.30.

Can't wait for Gold Cup in October and also Aberdare in June.

Pop the photos over to me and I'll forward them to Tom and will be up on his website. I'll ensure you do get mentioned once these are up.

The bike is a K4 engine and chassis with a K6 GSXR600 front end. Full M4 exhaust system and one piece tail unit with no sub frame needed. This is all to be sprayed and worked on by Paul Jinks at Trickbits Road racing and engine work by Kevin Brown of FBM Performance in Whaley Bridge just on the edge of the Peak District. Dyno'd and showing 82bhp with some work over the coming months this will get up to around 92-95bhp for the Manx GP in August.
