I've defected.....does that mean I'm banned now?
 

Guys......confession time.........I've sold the SV..........and bought an ER6-F.

I know I should probably hold my head in shame in front of the holy ones but to be honest I'm chuffed to bits!.

Got a crackin deal on the trade in on my (very battered) SV and I love the ER. Loverly loverly ride and the upright riding position is so much better for my ageing wrists.

I just hope it doesn't mean I've got to go away now cause I really like it here even if I don't post a lot. It's a source of great amusement.!

I think people SHOULD try a variety of different bikes, its the only way to form a rounded opinion of what is 'good' and what it is you want from a bike (it's exactly the same with women!! :smt082) ... anyhoo, no gripes here for you making that decision ...

But it seems a bit strange for people to post on an SV forum that don't have SVs ...

I've currently got an er6-f as well. Agree its a great bike. Get that lump of a cat removed and fit an arrow. I promise you wont regret it.

You do realise young Nev that as I write many a ORG peep is sticking pins in a Nev like manequin? Soon your eyes will become red and itchy and your hair will all fall out. You will be forever doomed to speak with a blubber and salivate in all female company for no apparent reason.:rolleyes:

There is a fair amount of people on here who don't ride an SV.. Most have had an SV at some point but it's a good forum which is why so many stay here when they change bike. I've been on both Honda and Kwak forums but still come on here as it's a good community :-)

Exactly, why should you disown your friends (Sv orger's) when you change your bike...seems odd to me...

I have made a few good friends directly as a result of this forum who i chat to on the phone, and meet as well as talk to via the forums...I wouldnt consider not logging on here if I changed my SV for another bike...

There you go! Changed the avatar. It's a really crap picture I took in the shop yesterday. It was only taken to show to the mrs when I took her out for lunch yesterday to beg her if I could get it..........er.............I mean to say "look what I've bought Mrs and you ain't gonna change things".

She liked her lunch and it worked lol.

I really like it here and have got some really good advice about bikes and other stuff here. It's cheered me up no end sometimes so I'm glad I can stay.

Pedrosa people have been sticking pins in me for years lol so all the hair is already gone.

One of the reasons I changed was because the riding position on my dear old SV was killing me.

I'm moving from NI to the North East in 2 weeks time so the SV would have been very uncomfortable to ride over.

On that note - I'll be riding the ER from Stranraer over to the Newcastle area. Anything to watch out for on my journey that you guys can warn me of?
