Centre stands.

Ok...want to get my bike more geared up for touring (before anyone says it I will carry jerry cans for my rather small tank ;))

Anyways..my question...is there a generic centre stand that I could fit?

Yes. There was one on E Bay a while ago. Not sure of the details but I will have a look out for you.

I'm sure there was one on Busters or summit like that for the SV too, if you look on it i'm sure there will be one for the Firestorm.

Just had a quick look on E Bay and found this.:

A bit costly, but only you know what you are willing to pay.

look at Wemoto, they're £89 and are imported from germany. I have one for when suzy will be dismantled to make the rear end easier to get at. It won't be staying on though it'll spoil the lines!!!

Why don't you just get a decent pivot stand instead? Then you can use it on other bikes.

cause the all intelligent Im indoors insisted that I got it. and the blonde rolled over.I got it months ago,and to be fair probably won't get used, but as I don't intend to have any other bikes but my sv's then it'll be used some day or another.

I have one of those but you can't get the swing arm out when it's used, a centre-stand would be a bonus. Looks like I'll have to weld a makeshift 'bolted up solid to the footrest hangers' type stand up for when I do the swing arm bearings.

Centre Stands always look low as if they are going to scrape the ground with on the twisties...I'm sure they are miles away but it just gives me that impression.
