Wurth chain lube

I read some of you talking about chains, lubes, sprockets etc. Well I wonder is any of you use Wurth chain lube? Do you know if it desolves in water? I do 10k miles in every weather each year. I use Wurth lube as it keeps my bike nice and clean, but was wondering it it needs reaplying after wet ride? It does not say anything on the tin as to wet weather use so I just pressumed it is OK to use in the wet. Am I right?

you'll find it behind the stack of chocolate teapots, aisle 7

i use the dry wurth stuff on the DRZ and i'd be amazed if it washes off with water:eek:

Re: Wurth chain lube

I bought one "dry, clear, chain lube" a while ago. Not sure about the make and I am lazy to go and have a look, but it states that it desolves in water and needs reapplying after a wet ride. That's why I am asking about the Wurth product. Just want my new EXPENSIVE chain to last!

I've used wurth through horrid weather.

Works fine!

You can see that its not soluble in water by the way the water 1) beads on the surface of a wurth coated chain and 2) runs off quite easily on the surface of a wurth coated chain

I love surface phenomena, I do
