DVD out of sync.

I keep having DVD audio/visual sync issues when I'm burning DVD's. I use verbatim media and Roxio to copy. Why is this happening and how do I stop it.

Should I use a different burner?

By the way, it's generally DivX files that I need to burn.

Try different software first [cause its cheaper - in fact you should be able to test it with some FREE software]

Then try the media next [cos that will cost you a few quid - unless you can persuade someone to chuck a single blank disc your way]

Finally, try transferring the file (on a memory stick) to another PC (if you have access to another) and try burning on that PC as I suppose your burner could be a prob (possibly?!)

are you burning at a high speed? slow it down if so and try it again. i burn all my DVDs at the slowest possible speed to help reduce errors

i don't know if it will solve the problem, generally if i've burnt one too fast it's have a critical error, but it's worth a shot before you try anything else...

Sure its not a problem with your brain Phil? Maybe the old grey matter can't keep up...the images are going in, but the sound is taking time to get through...or lots of wax in your ears....?

Bet you glad I posted with a sensible answer on here...;)
