insurance;quotes for 2 bikes- one grey import

Ok guys, need help getting insurance for 2 bikes under one policy-thats not too hard, its the fact that my cb is a grey import
.
Ive found 2 companys that can insure me on both bikes: carole nash for £1600 fc for a year and ebike for £990 BUT they arent listing the cb as such-theres a cb400 sf (grey)

Cia-don't insure grey imports
H&R-as above
bennetts-£2500 :eek::eek:

who else should i try? or am i gonna have to go with carole nash?

Still seems a bit steep, even if its a litre sportsbike.

I thought you women were meant to get cheap insurance. :p

Logical explanation seems to be to either sell the CB, or get seperate policies. If £1600 is anything to go by, it could well be cheaper.

not a litre sportsbike, not selling the cb-shes only a little 400cc winter hack.
Can i get seperate policies BUT still use my ncb's on BOTH bikes??

Right did a quote for each bike seperately with carole nash and then did a multibike quote with them:

Cb1-400-£222.40 fully comp (excess £250)
summer toy-£930.59 fully comp (excess £300)
both together-£1687.51 (excess for both £300)

Ermmm something doesnt add up there??? how can it be cheaper to insure them seperate compared to together????
