The funniest thing in the world is.........

This guy is a legend, he just does not fail at what he does.

However, he is now about to try and manage England, and is therefore gauranteed to fail miserably and get sacked after his first year and be slated by all the english.

England are beyond rubbish, and they will inevitably try and blame this guy and ruin his career, despite him being a legend in managing.

Wonder if those same people will be celebrating any less than the rest of us IF we actually won something ;-)
I remember people saying something similar about Liverpool's "new" French manager (Gerard Houllier) ... as Liverpool supporters we were used to having our managers "do their time" in "the boot room" ... it was their "apprenticeship" if you like, and god forbid that we should appoint anyone that hadn't done a proper "Liverpool apprenticeship" ... but I don't remember hearing any of them moaning about our fantastic treble-winning season (FA Cup, League Cup, and UEFA Cup) ;-) In fact I'd wager most of them were in the stands or in the Kop singing "Hou let the dogs out" ;-) Hahaha!

If they are moaning so much, they need to work harder to get the results so that they deserve to get the top jobs. No contest really...

Arguably the most intelligent English manager out there is Steve Coppell. I remember him continuing his studies for his degree even when he made it in to the big time with Man.Utd.

Steve has plenty Interenational experience as a player and if he could work the wonders he has at say Reading, at a bigger club then he could be a good bet after Fabio delivers the World cup.:p
