Has anyone got a picture of genuine R&G paddock stand Bobbins.

My gf has bought some for her dad for xmas and something doesn't seem right (comparing with pics on t'internet)

Pics to follow when I can pair my phone /pc

Note- there is a sticker covering an original label describing silver bobbins

They look genuine. There are two types that are available from R&G....

First is the Bobbins...

And the second are Cotton Reels

Both do the same, work with a paddock stand, however the Cotton Reels are larger and also act as a sort of crash protector. I have a set of Cotton Reels fitted to my curvy but its cold and dark outside, plus I'm not aloud out of the Mental Asylum after 8pm.

Was just about to say nooooooooo, they aint right as i've just fitted a set to mine yesterday and they didnt look nowt like that. But mine are cotton reels and look exactly like the second pic of Dangerous Daves. Didnt realise they did 2 versions. The packaging i got them in looks like yours though!

I thought the same too, noooooooooooooo, then remembered a ZX around the corner covered in R&G stuff except the Cotton Reels as he got the Bobbins instead. Had a look on the R&G website and it cleared it all up, they are genuine!

Hope it puts your mind at rest Ian.

Got to put my straight jacket on now......
