The CBR
Well picked her up yesterday morning/lunch, rode back and thought erm yer ok this is alright, also forgot that there is no fuel warning light on older bikes :D S'ok i had a reserve :) Got out on her to go to mine last night from the missus's and whoosh, wow this can go, now gettin used to it too :) doesnt really go over 90 but o well neh bother...Thanks to spanner man for sorting it out, he really is a top bloke
There is a tiny little power surge from 8-10 revs that i have found and enjoy :D lol. Piccys http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...7122007066.jpg http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...7122007065.jpg http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...7122007064.jpg Happy times :D |

Re: The CBR
Looks very tidy for it's age! What is restricting a V-twin like compared to restricting an IL4? Does it remove the upper powerband of the latter?
|
Re: The CBR
Obv been a IL4 its a bit borin low down, buttttt its an old engine so still has a lickle pull for me, like i say there is like a lil power surge at 8-10k revs so that keeps me happy.

Re: The CBR

Re: The CBR
Other than the headlight it actually looks like a pretty modern bike. Impressed! Its got too many cylinders though :p
