Who's going to the AR08 and will there be a group ride there?
 

Am hoping to attend next years annual event and am wondering if there'll be a group ride down there? If nothing is usually arranged does anyone fancy it? Also I'd like the missus to be in on it but doubt very much she'd be into the ride down there unless I take the banger and I don't want that! Is there usually enough fun to be had without a bike during the day?

I'll hopefully be going and was wondering who's going from our bunch and if anyone wants to ride as a group down there? Also I'd like the Missus to be in on it but need to know if it's the done thing for people not on bikes going cos I doubt she'll get on mine unless I bring the banger (and that'd be no fun for the ride).

I'll be going down with whoever is going from Soho, and yes we usually ride down together. The ride out bit of it is usually most of the day Saturday, but there's drinking to be done on the Friday and Saturday night, and hog-roast shenanigans as well.

A few folks (Viney and Verna, Kim and Cazza) came by car last year and managed to stay amused all weekend I think.

At the moment, yes, I'm going. It'll be nice to get away from modern world going camping, and it'll be the last big ride I have on my bike in its current restricted form.

I'll have to check @ work to see what is happening on that day.....I hope I can make it! Though last time I tried to look at the work rota system, I couldn't get on it casue its broke. Like most things at work, they hardly work, or are just plain broken!
