The bike you want to own in the next......

Whenever.....

Realistically. Not, I only do bar work and i want a Ducati Desmoquatrohornyness thingy. Realistic dreams that are hopefully within your grasp over say the next few years? Something that you'd really really like to own, can't even think really about it at the moment (if your like me, it just makes you sad  ) but maybe in a few years time, that bike may be yours. Maybe even in the next few months, something you've been saving/working for...?

Spondon framed TL1000 in a modern cafe racer style. I will have one within the next few years.

Ahh those were the days of loud noisy bikes, that wasn't a jap IL4 at 14000rpm...

Mine is a Benelli Tornado 900cc model.
The colour, the looks, the sound. Stunning.... £6500 brand spanking new.

Hmm, R1, CBR, GSXR, bikes that you see everywhere, or that bit of class and beauty. Im in love, i really am....

I have to admit without jumping on the bandwagon......I would also love a Duke 848 in white, however due to a combination of i know i would not ride it right for fear of throwing it down the road and the cost of servicing/parts, its unlikely to happen.

My next bike will therefore be a Gixxer 750 (but only if i can get a long test ride as the size is an issue :() Failing that the bigger heavier framed 1000.

My aim is to swap the bike next winter so i can get abit more saving done.

Edit Forgot to add that if my girlfriend continues to enjoy getting on the back as much as she has been doing then the sports bike idea will be out of the window entirely.

I will then either get a VFR or Sprint ST, which is actually just as appealing as the above as it would open up the long haul euro holiday options, its a tough decision
