Age difference

Ok no jokes now please, but:Do you think that age difference can cause a prob in a relationship? Is 21/34 a no go while 29?42 is ok.When does age diff cease to matter?Does it matter which sex is the older?
When mrs Gid and I met she was 21 and I shock horror cradle snatcher 34.
Eight yrs later(tonight) we are still together and happier then ever
I Love Mrs Gid

AWWWWWWWWWWW..... good on you an glad this has worked out for you both :thumright:

Personally I wouldn`t have a problem with an age gap. However I think its maybe more socially acceptable when the age gap is older man, younger woman but not so much when its older woman, younger man!

i think as long as both are in the same section of their life and want similar things out of the relationship, then who cares. it's a bit weird for, say, a 15 year old going out with a 20-something year old, but 21 and 34 doesn't seem so wrong. my parents are 20 years apart.

i find it funny that some people are still outraged when older women date younger men. who wouldn't want to date demi moore??

Me....she looks ok from a distance, but the closer you get, the more of a mess she is.

And to think I'm not sure what to do liking someone a year younger.. :)

Personally, I think that it doesn't matter, its where you are mentally that counts, surely?

There's 13 years difference between Mrs Wyrdness and me too. She was 22 when we met. People never realise that there's such an age gap between us as I look years younger than my actual age. I don't think that it's a no go at all. Certainly from a 40-something bloke perspective, having a 20-something woman is a very good thing! :D

The best of luck to you and Mrs Gid.
