Do I add to the SV or swap?

Currently undecided on what to do about a future bike purchase.

I keep on looking at DRZ400's with the idea that I could pick one up for less than £1500 and add it to the garage using it for commuting and for using in winter.

Alternatively I could scrap this idea and put it towards a better bike than the SV.

I also have the idea of buying a new Mountain bike as that will actually get me fitter.....

Too much choice not enough money.

Keep the SV for those nice days when you wanna go out on twisties and have some fun if you do that sorta thing.

I can't really talk about keeping them but i had my reasons for getting rid.

If you can afford it, keep it :)

keep sv and get a mountain bike too

too many bikes you have road tax insurance and all other expensive stuff. you can only ride one at a time.

Go DRZ!

New opportunities that you would not get with the SV. Bit of trail riding or the local MX track when its quiet. Totally different riding experience than the SV. Get you fit too and more fun than a kiddie pedal bike.

:)

How do you get fit with a trailie? I know picking it up exerts energy but i wasnt expecting to fall off that much!

Have you ever ridden off road ?

I did a Honda Motocross experience last year. It was one of the most physically knackering things I've ever done. Every bit of my body ached and I couldnt walk properly for 3 days as I was really stiff and sore.

I sweated like a ******* all day and after 20 minutes of track time I had to stop and have a rest.

Its really hardwork.

+1 I used to ride MX when I was a kid, and I always felt completely exhausted, and achecd all over after a session. It really is is an extremely physical sport if you do it properly. Even more so if it's muddy and you keep fallin off, that stuff can start to feel like quicksand after an hour or two.
