Shoei v HJC
Looking to buy a new lid, and fit wise its come down to a £120 HJC CL-ST (available for £80 on sale atm) or a £200 Shoei Raid II. Whaddya guys reckon, particularly in light of the following:
http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/ge...helmet_review/ Its a long read but quite interesting for those that haven't seen it. Don't want to skimp on safety, but is the cheaper lid actually any less safe? Cheers |
Re: Shoei v HJC

anyone got any ideas on how the pinlock anti-fog thing works, and if it causes glare/reflection at night? |

Re: Shoei v HJC
have an xr1000, love it, done 1 year / 11k miles still fresh as a daisy
pinlock is vey good, think of it as double glazing. keep it in all year round |
Re: Shoei v HJC
guess i'll ring the local shops and see if they can get anywhere near matching the xsmoto website then.
cheers all, uber quick responses as usual :-) |
Re: Shoei v HJC
I have an Arai and a shark lid, I use my arai all the time now....Shark one will be used for track days.
I would go for an arai if they fit you, best ones out there....I would wear what ever fits you best, but rememeber this you only have one head, can you put a value on it? Good bike gear cost, but its worth while. |
