service / brake cost

Hi,

Been quoted 170 quid for a service, replace clutch cable and brake rebuild (all calipers clean and regrease) for the sv including vat and parts oil/filter , air filter and clutch cable. The above includes 3 hours labour

Does this seem a fair price ?

Cheers Steve

About that, see your in the Midlands, not worth a trip over to Spanner man? We get 10% discount if you own an SV...I don;t know even though i bought my bike from him lol.

Doesn't seem too bad personally, especially if all the brakes are going to be bled etc once theyr'e put back together. Parts & oil is about £40-50 I'd imagine, and garage labour can be expensive when they've all their overheads to cover.

I don't rate your chances of surviving to come back and complain if they don't bother :-P

Seems alright, but I'd expect to spend more than 3 hours doing that lot on mine, if you're going through the back brakes too.
