Right click the desktop/properties/settings. Looks nice btw :)

Go to control panel ---> Display--> Settings then set the resolution using the slider thing.



Like I said in my post when you asked what screen to get, your graphics adaptor might not support a resolution that high.

thanx.......... done, do i need to change to widescreen?


& before, alot of pictures on here were very dark, some were just black, but now they look ace on the acer:p

changing the resolution size should have done the trick, there is no 'widescreen' setting on your computer (unless someone else knows better) - it is hadled by the screen resolution.

the writting looks a bit small, i can make it bigger by clicking the magnifying glass at the bottom right of the screen, but this then cuts some of the page off, so.

can i make the writting bigger, while not losing any of the page?

right click, go to settings, advanced, and mess around with DPI!
