My silver nekkid K3 went to its new owner today after I'd tidied some bits and pieces up and stuck new brake pads in - he's well chuffed. My housemate came and had a gander at it before it went and he reckoned it looked pretty good for a 28K mile old example.

When you saw it at Fox's it was filthy and hadn't been tidied up, the forks were corroded to hell and the subframe was rusting badly at the back of the pillion peg hangers. I sprayed the subframe with Smoothrite silver, it's an exact match. The forks are painted Simoniz 5 Wheel silver, for repainting steel car wheels, that's a pretty close match too.

Yep, That's my butt. Dennis is just like me, over 40, always in trouble and never grown up.

It could be worse. You could be down to riding a Dullsville but your not.

I'm down to riding a 1981 Yamaha SR250 flat-tracker thing until I get a daytime MOT on the CBR600. I think a trip out to get fork seals for it is on the cards for Monday.
