Did test ride on the 675 daytona today...

Ear to ear grin here,
omg what a bike!!!!! The roads were icy and greasy, and for the first half hour? i was very tense and tbh not 100%.
Soon as the tyres warmed up and i started to get me confidence back (bearing in mind i havent rode a bike properly since my bad accident in Sept 07) i really started to enjoy it!!
Omg that whine it gives out...wow wow wow!!!

Only downsides i found was clutch was little too far out for my small hands/fingers so pulling off was a struggle and i cant get the sidestand down as i keep catching me boot on footpeg, yup it hurt me wrists but gripping tank with knees eased that off.
Once tyres were as warm as they were gonna get in this weather it took corners so well!!!!!

Agreed a deal of £8k on the road with the following accessories fitted:
Hugger, alarm, crash bungs, solo seat cowl and pillion peg blanking plates.Just gotto sort out the finance and if thats all goes through i collect about second week of March!

Ohhh and a HUGE thanks to treacle who very kindly came up to keep me company & also took me to the dealers and back on his zx10 (quite comfy as a pillion!!!) as Tsm had to work, was nice to have company on me test ride and he also gave me some pointers and encouragement on me riding :)

Ooooh, very niiiice! Lucky thing you!

Just have to get some posh Pazzo levers for your ickle hands then eh! :D

I shouldn't laugh, I have them on my SV 'cos I have smaller than usual hands. No jokes about what people say about men with small hands please, I know, I know, small gloves ;)

Me too

Wish Treacle would take me for a ride-out - he's sooooooo cool :P

Great news - who knows I might join you in the 675 club depending on how it does with the SV

I can take yours for a test-ride, right?

Very jealous that you gonna own one, lovely rides are those 675's!!! As Chris said, gotta get a can on that!!! Do they still do the Arrow as a factory accessory???

Was it worth £3k more than a 6R do you reckon?

I love the looks and sound but my god are they expensive! Almost like buying Italian - you really have to buy with your heart rather than your head.

I was going to get one last year but it was £1k more than a 10R and £1500 more than Gixxer 750 when shopping around. The sound alone for me was almost worth it but not quite!
