just about remember thoes few very hot days when my leathers stuck to me cos of sweat
.........sweat running down by back....looking at the hero's who ride in T shirts..

hey, the island is probably best summed up as "quaint" - life's a bit slower and everything's a bit old fashioned, to give you an idea in 1997 or so the island got it's first escalator, and it made the front page of the island rag, the isle of wight county press...

there are some good sections of road, but none are very long, come for the views, not the roads i'd say, the main thing here is tourism so you'll have no problem finding a B&B, although as i live here i've no idea which ones are good or not

as for the ferry, M/C day return is ?20-25, i don't think a 5 day return is much more, but that's for me travelling from the island and returning to it, for tourists they hoik up the car prices, no ideas if the bike prices jump too
