Neio79 Down!!!
 

Its happened to me today, down i went!!

about 500m from my house turning out on to the road , back end went on what must have been greasy road.

Luckly all of about 3/4 MPH the dammage to the bike is, bar end scuffed, brake leaver very slightly scuffed! rear brake leaver bent ( bent back in place now) and ground down a bit, and the right fairing scuffed and a little crack in it.

I had rear cras bobbins on the swing arm so that took the brunt and meant there was no damage to the rear end at all. If only i had got around to fitting the frame sliders!!!!!!!!! doh.

anyhow i am fine and the bike rides fine all working just anoying cosmetic dammage on a two month old bike!!

I am not going to involve insurance company unless i really have to so does anyone know of a good company i can use to get my faring repaired???

awwww mate bad start to the day .. glad to hear that you are okay i know that's its annoying that you had a sparkly new bike and it's now scratched but it's cosmetic nothing more and your ok..... but even so take a few of these :grouphug: :grouphug:

ahhh gutted, as soon as i read it I though hopefully not on the new bike.

At least its not to bad.

Unlucky.

You know the old addages though about accidents and distance from home. Also there's one about frame sliders and fridges/sheds I believe.

As for your plastics, have you thought of welding them yourself?
