Southend Shakedown + Supervox's BBQ
 

OK boys & girls, it's that time of year again !!

For those of you who don't ride all year round or who may not know - Easter Monday (March 24th) is the traditional start of the biking year & the Ace Cafe organise a ride-out down to sunny Saaafffend.

So, as in previous years Mrs Vox has agreed to a BBQ for any Org-ers (hmmm - maybe that might be better put as 'org-ans' !! :D ) who maybe planning to attend.

The general plan is to meet in the same place as last year our local Lidl (the car park is open now (well at the moment anyway !!)) see link below for map.

Directions from the seafront are :-

Ride east to the traffic lights at The Kursaal (sea on your right, arcades on your left) - turn LEFT - at roundabout take 3RD EXIT - look for LIDL SIGN.

Meeting time will be 2:00pm to leave about 2:15 - 2:30.

We'll have a short little blast round some of the local lanes & aim to be back at the house at about 3:00ish - food should be ready about 3:30.

As per usual all Org-ans are welcome - a PM nearer the time would be appreciated just so we can get some idea of numbers.

We've been lucky in the past so keep your fingers crossed for good weather !! :cool:

For those who may wish to, we will probably take a little ride down to Southend Seafront in the evening to have a giggle at the Chavs in their 'souped up' Nova's, Saxo's etc.

Look forward to seeing all the usual faces plus any new ones who may wish to join us :)

is the plan to go on the ace ride in the morning, then the "short little blast round some of the local lanes" then to the BBQ, or just meet at at the lidls?
