Kawasuzuki ZX6-R750
 

I have been thinking of chopping my GSXR 600 K2 in for a while as it has done 20,000 miles now. I wanted something a bit uicker for trackdays but not too expensive. My local dealer is doing a new (2007 model - only difference from 08 is the colours) ZX-6R for ?5250 with 0% interest free over 30 months, bargain. I convinced myself this is the bike for me and although only 3 or 4 bhp more powerful the new chassis/engine would mean its should be qucker on track than my current one.

Before I went I thought it only sensible to pop in to Alpha Motorcycles to see what they could do. Didn't want another GSXR600 so they recommended either a thou (R1 or GSXR) or the 750. Road tested a K6 with 4800 miles on the clock, made my little 600 feel gutless. Got 400 knocked off and agreed ?6K would be a good price. One deposit later should pick it up next weekend ;-) :cool:

OK, it was a little more than a new Zx6R but I'll probably keep it longer.
