UFO's?

Do you believe in them?

Do you think you've ever seen one?

I'm pretty damn sure I saw one once, a long time ago. It was definitely flying, it was definitely not a meteor or a plane, it was definitely something I couldn't identify. I was seriously into star-gazing then so spent a lot of time watching the sky, and had never seen anything like it before. It got me so intrigued I did a lot of reading on the subject, and even went off down to Warminster and spent the night on the top of Cley Hill with my other half. (Didn't see any UFO's, but exactly 9 months later my daughter was born............and she is living proof that aliens are amongst us)

How about you?

A believer?

A non-believer?

I think it would be pretty damned arrogant to assume we are the only intelligent species in the universe, though why any advanced race would want to visit this planet is beyond me:D

I once saw a UFO.

It was about 5 in the morning and I must have been not even 10. We were loading the car up to go on holiday (don't ask me why we had to do this at 4 in the morning) and up in the sky was a UFO. And not just any UFO it was a proper full on flying saucer, with lights and all.

The truth is out there...

And here it is; I grew up in Bristol, which has a balloon fiesta, and we were on the flight path. Was great to see all these funky shapes flying over the house. Just that year someone decided to start the show early!

Am not sure, i suppose if i`m truthful i`d find it extremely hard to believe but having said that the universe is so vast and if we`re only one little part of it and very much alive then who knows!

We see things on the radar all the time, no respect for controlled airspace. referred to as 'angels'.

i totaly think that too. Out of hundereds of billions of stars how can we possibly be the only "intelligent" life?

But with so many UFO stories having been a suitable cover for covert military planes in testing its hard to know if they have really ever visited here...or if they have why have they not made contact with us....by us i mean the normal population.

Surley if they met Bush or his cronies they damned well know thats they aint the best of our race with just a quick glance....so if they have been here why have they kept it so quiet?
I totaly understand why any Govt would keep it quit as it destabalises their power base...well all except the Mexcans who seem to have daily sightings that are covered on mainstream news programs too.

Yes, I wondered about radar. It's funny, but you don't seem to hear much about UFO's these days, I don't know why. Especially if they still show up on radar. I'm sure it can't all be secret military tarffic:D

I think if they've been visiting for a while there is every reason why they haven't made contact with a paranoid race who would shoot first, ask questions afterwards. Our tv signals would show that being 'different' is often reason enough for violence.

Whats the protocol for spotting something unknown on the radar?
