After several months of waiting, and a debate between a zx6r and the sv650 K8 sport i've finally come to a decision and gone for the SV650sport in black. Pick it up sometime next week all things going to plan. Thinking about getting a scorpion exhaust on it straight away dealer fitted.

So excited :D

Well simple reason: SV650 bike finance + insurance ?187 a month Zx6r ?359/month. (Insurance on a 2008 zx6r at 18 with 0 no claims...)
Intend to buy a gsxr or will see what is out in a couple of years. :D Just excited to have a bike that i can ride (its been several months since last time)

Oh, well i was seriously considering the ninja but with my extreme lack of experiance and the love of the SV decided to stick it out, plus some advice from here ( no doubt biased towards the sv :))

Yeah its got the red seat think its fit, really want a tail tidy and some nicer indicators for it and i think its a real sweet looking bike :)

Anyone in essex up for a ride soon? :D

So i heard, and my local kawasaki dealer didn't really sound like they wanted to sell me the bike (possibly because i'm 18 and they probably think i don't have the finance to do it) but the guys at alpha motorcycles are great (suzuki dealer) even though they are obviously trying to sell something, they talk to you more like a friend, real good deals and service too, getting a load of stuff for free and money off on some other stuff. Finance over a longer period, and a real nice bike :D

I'm sure you can tell how excited I am :D (Unlike my gf who knows she's not going to see me for the next week or two )

Saw the black/red seat '08 SV in a "road test" in MCN this week. Said it was "good/exciting/proper/sporty"

that's the plan, dealer has a scorpion can for ?233 fitted, oval stainless steel can it is, don't know much more about it, does that sound resonable? Or other options? Wana be heard because I personally think it makes car drivers both to have at least a glance
