SV650 K6 on a 07 plate

SV650 K6 on a 07 plate

I purchased the bike in July and have been using it every day on my commute into London (30 mile round trip)

I am looking to get a different bike soon so I thought I would test the water and see if there is any interest.

£3400 is this realistic? Dealer PX offers seem to be about 3k
(Outstanding finance will be paid prior to sale but not until I have seen if it is viable to sell)

There is a scratch on the right hand lower fairing where a scooter rider decided to park on top of it!! (See Pic)

Location Romford, Essex

Just serviced at 4500

Mileage: 5200

Extra’s fitted
Pyramid Hugger
Scott Oiler
Mirror Extenders
Iridium Screen
After Market exhaust (with removable baffle, and original if required)
Data-tool 4 Alarm (dealer fitted with certificate)

Please PM me if you require any further information.

In a weeks time, brand new K7's on 08 plates will be available.

I would take the ?3k trade in tbh - you may get ?3200 for it private, but I would think it would take a while to find the right buyer

I agree with the last comment. I think the problem for you is the great deals that are available now.

I have the same bike, a K6 Sport also bought in July, which I got for ?4099 on an 07 plate. It's unmarked and only just over 2k miles but I think it would struggle to fetch over ?3k private now simply because of the deals available.

This quite a lot of money to lose of a new bike as well! Does make me think how much mine is worth is worth now. I have no plans of selling mine until the fianace is paid is, so I will have for probally 4 years I didn't pay full price for it either. Oh well its a good bike and will last a long time, slight derail I know but I wouldn't have it would dropped that qucikly in price!

Re: SV650 K6 on a 07 plate

Price drops by 17.5% the moment it goes on the road due to the VAT

That makes a new 4k bike worth ?3300.

The good thing about SV's is they hold value - only really this year that decent curvies have dropped to less than ?1500-?2000 pounds.

Makes valuing them hard

And remember - very low mileage can often be worse than high mileage.
