Best place for buying tyres please.

Where's the best place to buy tyres please?

My brother is after some Bridgestone tyres for his GSXR1000

bt 012 or bt 014
front 120/70zr-17
back 190/50zr-17

I'd also like to know the best place for my SV650.

All help is appreciated :)

the reason I ask is that you may negate any cost saving by the garage charging you to fit them.

as SV' says fwr are pretty good, or search for ebay seller blackandround, they are pretty good too.

Ahh FWR

Let me tell you about them.

Or rather let me tell you that when I need tyres I ride past them to ride THROUGH Central London to get to Essential Rubber, depite FWR being < 5 minutes from my house.

They usually will only work on your bike with it out of your sight.

They have, in the past, not put brake calipers on correctly

They have managed to muck up rivetting a chain, leading to that chain snapping at that point.

Haven't had the misfortune to let them work on MY bike, but I was behind the bike with the snapped chain when it happened. It was also that guy who had the brake caliper "issue".

3 Options:-
1) Woosters on A64.
2) Bike Tyres at Scholes.
3) BCT(HobSport) at Shipley.
They all do good deals and will fit to loose wheels or provide a full fitting service.
