Poor Stinky Artoo

I left him at my mother's yesterday.

She sent me a photo of him "all settled in" in her house. He looked unhappy.

Last night she put him in my room & as he had been a bit off his food she closed the door so he could eat in peace without the dog eating his food. When he realised I wasn't in there apparently he was miawing for a bit.

He didn't use his litter tray but ran out of the bedroom this morning & used the bathroom rug.

Poor fella.

Dont worry mate he'll get used to his new home soon, your mum will have to be patient, when I moved into a house after a flat one of my cats thought the corner of the dining room was the toilet as it was the nearest to where she thought the tray used to be. After 3 weeks she then started going outside like the other 2 we had at the time.

The little fella is quite nervous by nature, when I first got him he was quite afraid of my house mates and whenever he got scared he'd run off farting.

I called him Artoo, everyone else in my house would call him Stinky.

aww, he's a scaredy cat then...ah well at least your mum can put up with cat farts if shes got a dog. My dogs farts are like the green mists of doooooom. Perhaps thats why I've never heard of a farty cat!!

+1 the dogs farts smell much worse than the cats

It normally takes cats quite a while to settle in somewhere new. If he's nervous anyway, then it'll probably take at 2-3 weeks before he settles.

What does he eat? His diet might have something to do with his farting. Our cats mostly eat dry catfood and they aren't smelly at all.

Dry food only & he only farts when he's nervous.

I'm sure he'll be fine.....
