The only time I got piles was after trying to squeeze something the size of a melon out of something the size of a smartie tube:D

I have tried that whole melon/smartie tube thing, it just tore the packet!
Seriously, the biggest cause of piles must surely be poor diet and straining out a cable. Another symptom of this can be anal fissures, they really do bleed, trust me. So eat well, drink plenty of water to keep your "solids" moist and don't push too hard, that way you should avoid Piles. By the way, to get around the embarrassment of buying pile cream, just tell the Chemist that you have just had a new Tattoo. Mind you, that can make a new tattoo rather embarrassing...:p |

My biology teacher used to tell us "never to strain more than 3 times" :-|. Oh and the thing about sitting on cold walls is a myth too
As well as the fact that asparagus and sugar puffs will make your pee smell, he was a strange old chap  |
