Which rear shocks bolt straight in ?

Of the shocks gixxer boys and kwacker guys are yanking out of their rear ends, which ones bolt straight into the '99 SV650 and will actually improve it ? And if you have one for me, how much[-o< ??? I feel like I have a trampoline under my ass. Also, which heavier fork springs will drop right in for my spindly 72 Kg mug? Lots of questions, sorry.

None of the other bikes shock fit straight in, you will need to do some cutting and moving of bits about to get it in. If you don't want to do that, then Hagon sell after market shocks for about £250 that will fit in easy.

ZX10 fits into a curvy and has slightly stiffer spring. It bolts straight in to the top and bottom shock mounts. The battery box in the undertray needs to be cut to accommodate the shock reservoir and so the battery needs to b raised to not foul on the reservoir.

Good mod for the money.

I've just done that exact mod to the wife's curvy. I've almost completed setting the sag at the back, but I haven't had a chance to ride it yet (and nor has she!! :smt088).

The ZX636 shock fits in the same way though you will need to get the bottom U link threaded for the orginal shock bolt, as I have done. But it does require cutting of the battery box and moving of a few things to get it to fit.
