Yippeeeeeeee

After 3 weeks of waiting, they have finally installed a plate over the ditch in front of my drive.

I can now get my bike down the drive.:D

He'll go out for a ride, arrive home and discover that the plate was only a temporary measure and that it's now gone...

... but the ditch is still there. ;)

He'll be happier once the cheque from when he sues for them denynig the use of his property.

I am sure there is money in this some where.

Personally I would have just kept filling the ditch in every night :)

Personally I would prefer to fill in git who dug the ditch.

As a side issue, one of the neighbours who was denied access to her drive has had her car swiped by a passing vehicle overnight.

2006 clio, damage is front bumper, n/s wing, n/s door, ns/rear panel, rear bumper all need replacing. She was crying as her insurance stipulates the car is garaged. Can she claim against the contractors who prevented her access? rather than fight her own insurance company

She could always do both?

That 'garaged overnight' is a right catch-out though. Even if I'm just popping in for my lunch or soemthing - if I'm on the BlueBlade I'll always leave it in the garage. It only gets to stay on the road infront of the house if I'm spannering or washing it (fairly quiet road) and so I'm actually with it ...

... but then my insurance for it is dirt cheap, partly because it's not covered against theft if it is left within 100 yards of the house in any other position than in my garage.:smt103
