Nice letter this morning...
 
...asking if I was the driver of vehicle reg (my reg) on a certain date and time, as I was clocked at 36 in a 30.

Now let's see, the threshold for a ticket is speed limit plus 10% plus 2mph, so 30+3+2=...

A friend of mine was done at 36 in a 30 last year, very luckily they were offered the day's 60quid "training" instead of fine+points.

Yep, did one of those 2 years ago, which means it's definitely points. Worst thing is it's a camera I know about, just either wasn't thinking that day or they've reduced the limit at which it goes off. In which case I may have a few more letters in the post... (bloody hope it's the former rather than the latter...)

Yeah done that a few times completely forget until you reach the paint on the road & slam on the anchors like a complete idiot.
