Tax laws...and buying
I'm looking at buying a bike. Problem is, one possibility is declared SORN and is miles away from me. To purchase tax you need an insurance document, and V5 and somethings?
...This would mean purchasing the bike and insurance but leaving it at its current location (which i dont want to risk) until i recieve all insurance documents, then getting tax, then spending more time and petrol for a second trip to go and get the bike. Is there any exceptions to tax laws in this situation? I dont really want to risk not having tax on the road incase of an accident etc. but i dont want to make two trips. Anyone got any tips? |

I have been considering...not sure if its worth the hassle andmoney...looks like it'll have to be 2 trips or risk it. I'm happy to risk it tbh, but theres always that thought in the back of your head. GAY!
