paul the 6th down... but not out. Minor off

Well, after 9 months of trouble free riding I managed to lose the front end whilst turning left off a main road. 30 seconds previous I'd thought "oh it's just started spitting, I'll get home now... only take a few mins"... then bosh, a bit of damp caught me out and I was sliding across the tarmac at about 15-20mph...

Picked myself up, looked for other traffic, checked myself and then attended to the bike. None of the major parts are damaged. All the usual stuff, left indicator, left bar end, left foot peg, left gear changer, and a massive gash on the pillion grab handle. Tank, forks, frame, engine, screen, rest of body work all totally damage free.

Hein Gericke leathers aren't even damaged, just a bit dusty. The gloves have a bit of wear on the knuckle armour. Boots fine, helmet didnt even touch the ground. Very lucky really...

now then, where do I get the spare bits from?

Glad to hear no damage to you! bike doesn't sound too bad either so I guess it could have been worse. still, bad luck man, hope you manage to find some cheap bits to get it sorted.

Glad there's no damage to you.

The bike will be cheap enough to put right, as others have mentioned, get on ebay, you can probably have it sorted by friday :-P
