The new girl in my life :O)
As promised, a couple of pics of the new bike.
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y17...e/DSC00135.jpg Clean(ish) http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y17...e/DSC00141.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y17...e/DSC00138.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y17...e/DSC00139.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y17...e/DSC00140.jpg The Only REAL mark I can see on it. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y17...e/DSC00137.jpg It seems a shame to do anything to it. If it wasnt so quiet I would leave it well alone :) |

Other than the loss of power, this is a very good find I think, better than the multi coloured swap shop I nearly bought. :) I am leaving the bike well alone except for the above in time. Its too nice to go messing it up |
Re: The new girl in my life :O)
Congrats on the new girl...er....bike!!!
She's a beauty!!! (the curvy ones always are) ;) At last...the wait is over, eh? Glad you're back on two wheels. |
Re: The new girl in my life :O)
Phhhhwwwwwooooooooooaaaaaaaaarrrrr what a fine ride that is :D And yea, looks alot better than the other blue and yellow thing you nearly got!
Have you found out by what means its restricted yet? I think it needs a little fly screen and a belly pan, and it'll look really really good Matt |
Re: The new girl in my life :O)
I think it's the carb slides, but I can live with it for the time being. I'll see how the pennies stretch :)

Re: The new girl in my life :O)
This is soooooooooooooooo strange. I have put my old Fuel Race can on this morning (Thanks Huskie ). Been out for a short blast up to Northwich, cos I'm all legal now :) & the SV feels great, it pulls in all gears, revs through to the red line in the lower gears (still haven't got the bottle yet) for the higher gears. It just feels a completely different bike to the one I rode home on Saturday.
Saturday - 70 - 80 tops Today - I did actually see 100 mph with plenty to go. This is very strange something I can't explain, but I'm not complaining :):) |
